MISTISISME PUISI JOHANN WOLFGANG VON GOETHE DALAM WEST-ӦSTLICHER DIVAN

West-Ӧstlicher Divan (Diwan Timur-Barat) merupakan kumpulan puisi liris karya Johann Wolfgang von Goethe berisikan cinta dan kekagumannya pada Islam ditulis pada periode Klasik dalam rentang waktu 1814 sampai 1819. West-Ӧstlicher Divan merupakan salah satu sastra yang beraliran sufi ditulis dalam gaya Persia. Istilah sufi lebih menunjuk pada suatu literatur yang memuat ekspresi, ajaran dan pemikiran mistis, khususnya dalam bentuk puisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif yang memfokuskan perhatiannya pada pendekatan interpretatif dan naturalistik terhadap objek kajian yang mengkaji dengan mendeskripsikan tiga puisi karya Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, antara lain: (1) Vier Gnaden, (2) Bedenklich dan (3) Erschaffen und Beleben., untuk menganalisis puisi dilandasi argumentasi berdasarkan konsep Dimensi Mistisisme Islam Annemarie Schimmel (1975) dengan menjabarkan syariat, tarekat, hakikat, tawakal, sabar, mahabba-ma’rifa dan beberapa kutipan ayat al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran dilandasi multi-tafsir untuk membuka tabir tentang isi kandungan nilai-nilai puisi West-Ӧstlicher Divan. Sehingga hasil kesimpulan penelitian memberikan sebuah gambaran tentang karya-karya puisi Johann Wolfgang von Goethe yang memiliki kandungan multi tafsir atau makna ganda. Salah satu tentang kandungan makna warna hijau.Kata Kunci: Puisi, Sufisme, Mistisisme

This article approaches affinities between Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832) and Immanuel Kant (1724-1804), especially regarding Kant's "Critique of Judgment". Herein, this study investigates the theoretical dialogue that implicitly or explicitly permeates Goethe's thought and the work of the philosopher of Königsberg involving concepts such as Art, Nature and the Sublime.Este ensaio aborda afinidades entre Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832) e Immanuel Kant (1724-1804), principalmente em relação à "Crítica da Faculdade do juízo" kantiana. MAKNA PUISI “NEUE LIEBE, NEUES LEBEN” DAN “AUF DEM SEE” DARI KUMPULAN PUISI GOETHE GEDICHTE IN ZEITLICHER FOLGE KARYA JOHANN WOLFGANG VON GOETHE: ANALISIS HERMENEUTIK DILTHEY

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) konsep Erlebnis, (2) konsep Ausdruck, dan (3) konsep Verstehen hermeneutika Wilhelm Dilthey dalam puisi Neue Liebe, neues Leben dan Auf dem See karya Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Objek penelitian ini adalah puisi Neue Liebe, neues Leben dan Auf dem See dalam kumpulan puisi Goethe Gedichte In Zeitlicher Folge karya Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Data dianalisis dengan teknik baca catat. Data dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Keabsahan data diperkuat dengan validitas expert-judgment. Reliabilitas yang digunakan yaitu reabilitas intrarater dan interrater. Hasil penelitian dalam puisi Neue Liebe, neues Leben dan Auf dem See menunjukkan (1) konsep Erlebnis meliputi: (a) pengalaman hidup Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, (b) historisitas puisi Neue Liebe, neues Leben dan Auf dem See ditinjau dari Erlebnis Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. (2) konsep Ausdruck (a) dalam puisi Neue Liebe, neues Leben berupa ungkapan keinginan Goethe untuk melarikan diri dari kekasihnya yang digambarkan oleh ich (aku), (b) dalam puisi Auf dem See berupa ungkapan kesedihan dalam kehidupan Goethe yang digambarkan oleh ich (aku). (3) konsep Verstehen (a) dalam puisi Neue Liebe, neues Leben meliputi: (a.1) kebingungan atas perubahan hidup Goethe terhadap sang kekasih yang digambarkan oleh ich (aku), (a.2) keinginan kebebasan Goethe dari sang kekasih yang digambarkan oleh ich (aku). (b) dalam puisi Auf dem See meliputi: (b.1) konflik kehidupan batin Goethe yang digambarkan oleh ich (aku), (b.2) pemikiran Goethe tentang kehidupan yang digambarkan oleh ich (aku)

Missglückte Begegnung – Der kurze Briefwechsel zwischen Leopold von Buch und Goethe

Zusammenfassung Die Bekanntschaft zwischen Leopold von Buch und Johann Wolfgang von Goethe war von Missverständnissen und Skepsis dem jeweils anderen gegenüber geprägt. Persönliche Gespräche über geologische Themen scheiterten, Briefe wurden verspätet abgeschickt oder kamen nicht an. Goethe lehnte den „Ultravulkanisten“ Buch ab, Buch Goethe als geologisch wenig kompetent. So endete beider Begegnung in Gesprächsverweigerung, zweideutigen Komplimenten und einer Korrespondenz von insgesamt nur zwei Briefen, die hier wiedergegeben werden. Abstract The contact between Leopold von Buch and Johann Wolfgang von Goethe was full of misunderstandings and critical skepticism. Personal discussions on geological topics failed, letters were dispatched late or did not reach the addressee. Goethe refused Buch as an “ultra-volcanist”, Buch labelled Goethe as incompetent. The failed encounter issued in a correspondence of just two letters presented here. Resumée Les échanges entre Leopold von Buch et Johann Wolfgang von Goethe forment une histoire remplie de malentendus, de scepticisme et de refus qui se caractérise notamment par des entretiens avortés sur des sujets géologiques ou des lettres égarées. Goethe rejetait en bloc les positions "ultra-volcanistes" de son collègue, tandis que ce dernier considérait Goethe comme un savant peu compétent. La confrontation entre les deux hommes aboutissait par conséquent toujours à une récusation réciproque. Nature in 19th Century German Literature

Author will be presenting the research from capstone course on nature’s thematic role in 19th Century German literature. Author will present and analyze three texts; Elective Affinities by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Lenz by Georg Büchner, and Rock Crystal by Adalbert Stifter. The ‘landscape’ of Elective Affinities by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe presents the subdued aspect of nature and society’s ability to control the environment following the scientific revolution. In Georg Büchner’s Lenz, nature’s unpredictability and chaotic state is observed overwhelming Lenz’s schizophrenic mind. Finally, the limits that nature sets for modernity and the borders it constructs for society in Rock Crystal by Adalbert Stifter. U radu se analiziraju andragoške ideje i aspekti u romanu Godine učenja Vilhelma Majstera Johana Vo lfganga fon Getea4 (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe: 'Wilhelm Meisters Lehrjahre') i elemente zbog kojih se ovo delo svrstava u kategoriju obrazovnog romana. Godine učenja Vilhelma Majstera bavi se procesom odrastanja i sticanja zrelosti u njenim brojnim aspektima kroz proces učenja i obrazovanja/samoobrazovanja glavnog junaka, istovremeno slikajući građanski obrazovni ideal XVIII veka.This article analyses andragogical ideas and aspects in the novel 'Wilhelm Meister's Apprenticeship' by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe: 'Wilhelm Meisters Lehrjahre') and elements that place this book in the category of educational novel.
